Having done her under graduation in nursing and registered as a B.Sc. Honors nurse from Delhi's Vardhaman Mahavir Medical College and Safdarjung Hospital, Shikha has won the hearts of people across the nation as she took to her Instagram page to reveal that she has joined work as a nurse again in light of the coronavirus disease that continues to spread like wildfire across the world.

Known also for her praiseworthy performance in the recently-released Hindi film, Kaanchli Life in a Slough, Shikha Malhotra penned a note on her Instagram page with pictures of her working at the hospital to combat the COVID-19 virus requesting people to stay home and follow the government's orders during the lockdown period while also seeking blessings from everyone for her service. Shikha, who is also serving at the Balasaheb Thackeray Trauma Centre in Mumbai's Jogeshwari region, shared a video urging people who have studied medicine to join her in tackling the highly dangerous disease.
