‘Superstar’ Rajinikanth’s upcoming film, Darbar, announced to come out in theatres on January 9, 2020 as a massive Pongal treat wrapped up shooting not long back under director A. R. Murugadoss’ direction. The music for the cop action entertainer has been composed by Anirudh Ravichander with the first single track titled ‘Chumma Kizhi’ going on to create the record for being the most listened Tamil track in a span of 24 hours. With the Darbar audio launch announced to take place later this week on the 7th at the Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium in Chennai, reports of the film’s complete tracklist have been doing the rounds online since yesterday. It was revealed in the tracklist that popular singer Sid Sriram has sung a song titled ‘Kannazhagi’, which he has now denied on his Twitter space. Check out his tweets below:

Darbar has Rajinikanth playing the role of a top-ranking police official named Aaditya Arunasalam and will seen him donning the khakhi for the first time since his Pandiyan, almost 28 years in 1992. Nayanthara will be seen alongside Rajinikanth for the fourth time after her previous appearances in Chandramukhi, Sivaji and Kuselan with Bollywood actors Suniel Shetty and Prateik Babbar playing the role of the antagonists while actress Nivetha Thomas and comedian Yogi Babu have been cast in vital supporting roles.
