Raghava Lawrence is a busy man as he has his hands full with two upcoming projects namely Rudhran and Adhigaram, with the actor-director taking to social media on Friday to surprise fans on his next big venture. Taking to his Twitter page, Lawrence dropped the announcement that his next film is titled Durga, while also sharing a special poster showing him appearing as a Hindu pujari/priest, with his face covered in thick long white beard making his character to appear as an aged person. The Durga announcement poster doesn't reveal the rest of the film's cast and crew apart from it being produced under Lawrence's Raghavendra Productions banner. 

Durga under the Raghavendra Productions banner will be Lawrence's next big venture he will be bankrolling after he tasted massive successes with his Kanchana (2011), Kanchana 2 (2015) in association with Sri Thenandal Films and Kanchana 3 (2019), a joint collaboration with Sun Pictures. Whether Durga will be directed by Raghava Lawrence himself is yet to be known and an announcement regarding it can be expected as time passes by. Apart from his Durga , Raghava Lawrence's Rudhran was revealed to be in its third schedule a few days back, with the team filming a few talkie portions after which stunt sequences were planned to be shot. Being directed by Tamil film producer S Kathiresan of 5 Star Creations LLP, Rudhran includes leading actress Priya Bhavani Shankar as the female lead, with Sarath Kumar, Nassar and Poornima Bhagyaraj in pivotal roles and G. V. Prakash Kumar on board for the film's music. Likewise, Lawrence's Adhigaram also being produced by S Kathiresan's Five Star Creations in association with Vetri Maaran's Grass Root Film Company, will be directed Ethir Neechal, Kaakki Sattai, Kodi and Pattas fame Durai Senthilkumar
