Most Eligible Bachelor was initially announced to come out in theatres last year on April 2 on the auspicious occasion of Rama Navami, but was eventually delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It was once again pushed to January this year before getting postponed to April. A new release date was issued, but the second wave of the coronavirus pandemic led to cinemas across India getting shut down, with the film subsequently getting delayed again. Billed to be a fun rom-com, Most Eligible Bachelor directed by Bhaskar has Akhil Akkineni and Pooja Hegde as the lead pair, with music composed by Gopi Sundar and has been produced under the GA2 Pictures banner.
