‘Superstar’ Rajinikanth’s Petta directed by Karthik Subbaraj under the Sun Pictures banner went on to become one of the biggest blockbusters of 2019. Released earlier this year as a Pongal treat, the film included a diverse cast among whom actress Simran was seen in a major supporting role as Megha Akash’s mother. Simran’s romance with Rajinikanth was a big highlight in the film including the ‘Ilamai Thirumbudhe’ song featured on them. Now, Sun Pictures has released the first of several planned Petta deleted scenes featured on the romance between ‘Thalaivar’ and Simran.
