After a stellar career in movies, Power Star Pawan Kalyan forayed into active politics after floating his own party, Jana Sena. He even contested in the most recent Assembly elections but his party did not have great returns in them. Pawan is a fighter and continues to involve himself in the political scene. Pawan Kalyan like always constantly makes the headlines for one reason or the other. Recently, he gave his fans a huge surprise by returning to movies after his Agnyaathavaasi in 2018. He made them happier by announcing a slew of movies with his immediate next Vakeel Saab which happens to be the remake of Hindi film Pink. He recently a movement to collect funds for the film industry during this Corona Virus lockdown crisis.  
Now Pawan has issued a statement in Tamil asking the government of Tamil Nadu to help 99 Telugu speaking fishermen who are stranded in the sea shore of Tamil Nadu. Pawan Kalyan asks the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu Edapadi K Palanisamy to provide food, shelter, and safety and help with the safe departure of about 99 fishermen hailing from Srikakulam District, Andhra, who are stuck at Chennai port due to lockdown. We wish all the fishermen return to their hometown safely.
