Megastar Chiranjeevi's big-budget Telugu historical action drama film Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy was huge success and the film is one of the biggest blockbusters in the history of Telugu cinema. Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy also released in Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam where the movie also managed to pull in some decent crowd. Apart from Chiranjeevi, Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy involved big names like Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan, Anushka Shetty, Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, Sudeep, Tamanna and many others in important roles. The film was produced by Ram Charan under the production house Konidela Production Company.

The music is scored by popular Bollywood composer Amit Trivedi played an important role in the movie's success as the album was a chartbuster in all the languages.
