One film that went on to garner appreciation from fans across the country in 2018, Andhadhun, in Hindi, starring Ayushmann Khurrana as a blind pianist alongside actresses Tabu and Radhika Apte, continues be celebrated by fans, with remakes in Tamil and Telugu as well getting announced subsequently. With the Tamil version titled Andhagan with Prashanth, Simran and Priya Anand currently in post-production stages, the Andhadhun Telugu remake under the title Maestro featuring Nithiin, Tamannaah and Nabha Natesh in the lead roles under Merlapaka Gandhi's direction is skipping its release in theatres and headed for a direct OTT premiere on DisneyPlus Hotstar soon. 

Produced by N Sudhakar Reddy and Nikitha Reddy under their Sreshth Movies banner and being presented by Rajkumar Akella, the long-awaited Maestro trailer has now been released by DisneyPlus Hotstar and packs in intriguing moments from start to end. We see Nithiin playing the role of Ayushmann Khurrana as the blind pianist, with Nabha Natesh in Radhika Apte's role as the female lead and Tamannaah seen in the character portrayed by Tabu. Fans who have watched the Hindi original will know that the story primarily revolves around a murder, with Nithiin in Maestro seen delighting his fans to a convincing performance as a person gone blind. The Maestro trailer also looks fresh and Nabha Natesh is cheerful as ever, while Tamannaah impresses in her glamorous avatar in the visuals teased. The film's supporting cast includes Jisshu Sengupta, Naresh Sr., Harsha, Mangli, Racha Ravi among others. 

Maestro has music composed by Mahati Swara Sagar, who previously delivered hit tuned for Nithiin in Bheeshma previously, with the film's technical team comprising of names like cinematographer J.Yuvraj, editor S.R.Shekhar, followed by Venkat and Real Satish for the action sequences, Sahi Suresh as the production designer and Nishka Lulla, Ashwin, Sravya Varma, Raaga Reddy for the costume designs. Sriram Raghavan, Arijit Biswas, Pooja Ladha Surti, Yogesh Chandekar and Hemanth Rao are credited as the writers/authors for the work on Andhadhun, with Byreddy Nagireddy serving as the co-director in Maestro
