Wedding bells for Lakshmi Short Film heroine!

A former HR professional who also played cricket at the national level before working on the managerial side of a famous Theatre group and then entering cinema through a very small role but is now considered one of the most talented and natural performers, is Lakshmi Priyaa Chandramouli. She has acted in quite a few Tamil and Malayalam movies as well as a number of short films. The highly controversial short-film Lakshmi, catapulted her fame sky high. Though there were many adverse comments for it, Lakshmi Priyaa's acting was absolutely top-notch. We now hear that this beautiful and talented performer has gotten hitched!

Reports in various sections of the media state that Lakshmi Priya Chandramouli has gotten married to a Bengaluru based writer and theatre personality - Venkataraghavan Srinivasan. The wedding is said to have happened over two days with the couple's family members and close friends in attendance. Lakshmi Priya was handling the ticket counter at one of the plays performed by her Theatre group when she was spotted by Magizh Thirumeni and offered a chance to play a small role in his movie Munthinam Paartheney.

Lakshmi Priyaa has played cricket at the National level and represented the Indian Women's B team and also played in a tournament against the West Indian women's team. She is also a national level champion in Ultimate Frisbee. Lakshmi Priyaa was seen as Nayanthara's friend in the supernatural thriller Maya and her upcoming movie by director Vasanth - Sivaranjaniyum Innum Sila Pengalum, has been doing the circuits at the international film festivals and has been bagging numerous awards.
