'Thalapathy' Vijay's star status has skyrocketed with each blockbuster film he has been churning out every year and the actor's salary has also taken an upswing as expected. As known to all by now, the Income Tax (IT) department had raided Vijay's house and his properties last month in regard to the salary he had received for Bigil after which the actor had to put a halt to filming his portions for his upcoming film, Master.

The IT raids were not only conducted at Vijay's house, but also on Bigil producer Archana Kalpathi, who was asked to produce the records about the investment and profits generated post the film's theatrical release. Yesterday (March 12) saw the ongoing investigation on Vijay's properties reportedly come to a conclusion after it began last month when the actor was in Neyveli shooting his portions for his film, Master.

It is being said that the properties of Vijay on which there were seals had been removed by the Income Tax department yesterday along with the revelation that the actor had paid his taxes without any default for his salary he had received for Bigil, which is said to be around Rs. 50 crores and Rs. 80 crores for Master. That being said, actress Khushbu had tweeted about these developments on her Twitter page saying, "The IT department has revealed Vijay's salary details after their investigation - Rs. 50 crores for Bigil and Rs. 80 crores for Master.
