The production house has however denied this news to us. We got in touch with the producers through their PR agency to know if the direct OTT release plan is really on. The production team was quick to react to the news saying it is not true. So, from what we hear, the makers of Thalaivi are planning to release the film only on theatres and not directly on OTT. The film does have a good expectation, the promos and teasers released so far have got mixed reactions but they did create a huge buzz, so a lot of people are willing to pay money to watch Thalaivi and the producers feel the want to use that frenzy.
