The makers of the 25th James Bond film, No Time To Die, have decided to postpone the promotional tour for the upcoming action blockbuster in China as cinemas in the country have been forced to shut down in order to contain the spread of the Corona virus. Around 70,000 cinema screens across China are said to have been ordered to remain closed, which is costing film distributors across the country.

Directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga, No Time To Die is 51-year-old British actor and Hollywood superstar Daniel Craig's fifth and final outing as the fictional super spy after appearing in previous James Bond films namely Casino Royale, Quantum of Solace, Skyfall and Spectre. No Time To Die has been carrying sky-high expectations ever since it was announced and the decision to stall the film's release in China could hurt the revenue as the latest 007 venture was expected to turn out to be the highest-grossing Bond movie to date.

The film's Beijing screening, which was expected to happen in the days ahead with Daniel Craig and the rest of the cast, will not be taking place including the stars participating in the publicity tour of China, owing to the growing epidemic. As of now, there is no word or clarity on when the film business is expected to return to normalcy in China as the latest death toll report in the country exceeds 1,770 people. No Time To Die also stars Rami Malek as the antagonist with Ben Whishaw, Naomie Harris, Ralph Fiennes joining new cast members Lea Seydoux, Jeffrey Wright, Lashana Lynch, and others in supporting roles with the film slated for its UK release on April 2 and in North America and worldwide on April 10.
