Actor Jiiva’s Gypsy has been one venture that generated instant curiosity right from the moment of its announcement as it has been directed by Raju Murugan of the 2016 critically-acclaimed film, Joker. Gypsy, which was given an 'A' certificate by the Censor Board, has been produced by Olympia Movies and is finally set for its theatrical release on March 6 after clearing several pre-release hurdles it had endured for a period of time.

Jiiva will want to hit the bullseye this time with Gypsy after his Seeru didn't perform as well as he would have expected, with the upcoming political drama romantic road film featuring music by Santhosh Narayanan receiving a good response from fans upon the album's release. With the film gearing up for its release next week, a new Gypsy trailer has now been released by the makers and gives us the first glimpse at additional new footage.

Apart from Jiiva, Gypsy includes Natasha Singh as the female lead followed by Malayalam actor Sunny Wayne, Lal Jose, Susheela Raman, Vikranth Singh, Karuna Prasad among others in major supporting roles. The film’s song 'Very Very Bad' shot on reputed social activists Thirumurugan Gandhi and Piyush Manush and, veteran Communist Party of India (CPI) leader R. Nallakannu, had a promo released as well, which received a strong response from fans.
