Composer turned actor G. V. Prakash Kumar has an incredibly busy year ahead as there's no stopping him from signing on the dotted line for more new ventures. GV Prakash has been basking in the glory for his thunderous compositions in last year's blockbuster, Asuran, with fans now waiting with bated breath for his upcoming next, Soorarai Pottru, starring Suriya under Sudha Kongara's direction.

With a long list of commitments as a composer as well as an actor up ahead, sources close to us have now revealed that GV Prakash has been roped in to churn out tunes for Karthi's next film. To be produced under the Prince Pictures banner, Irumbu Thirai and Hero director PS Mithran will be the captain of the project, which incidentally will be the fourth occasion GV Prakash will be scoring music for a Karthi film after Aayirathil Oruvan, Saguni and Komban, with an official announcement in this regard expected to be made in the days ahead.
