Gayathri Raguramm's strong advice for students!
Dancer turned actor Gayathri Raguramm is forever controversy's favourite child and is often in the headlines for some reason or the other. Recently, she was in the spotlight after accusing a famous politician of being a goon and she even openly challenged him through her Twitter account. However, this got her Twitter account suspended and she got it back only after a while. It looks like she is back to being her sensational self, already! The whole nation is divided over the recently introduced Citizenship Amendment Act and protests are happening at various places, in support of as well as against this act! Chennai is not far behind and students are taking to the streets to protest against the CAA. Today, Gayathri took to her Twitter account to share her opinions on this...
In a series of Tweets, Gayathri advised the school and college students to not participate in these protests and mentioned them as just being false and misleading information by some political parties. She even mentioned that we all have common sense to understand the CAA and CAB and that we can protest if we prove the Government wrong. Gayathri also requested the students to learn history and politics and use it for votes. She also urged them to understand the situation and analyse it instead of blindly following people who ask them to protest or take on the path of violence.
In a further tweet, Gayathri mentioned that as it was the Christmas holidays, she urged the students to not waste their time and to spend happy time with their families. Gayathri Raguramm is a member of the Bharatiya Janatha Party which is currently governing India in the Centre and which introduced the Citizenship Amendment Act.
