Director Vasanta Balan, who is known for making impactful films like Veyil, Angadi Theru and Aravaan, is not quite happy about his current situation. He joined hands with G.V.Prakash Kumar for a new film titled Jail and the film garnered huge attention from the cinema lovers. This film had an intriguing first look poster and it also promised to showcase G.V.Prakash in a completely new dimension. With an acclaimed filmmaker like Vasanta Balan at the helm, the fans were quite sure that Jail would be an important film in Tamil cinema to watch out for.

However, the film has not seen the light of day till now, even despite completing the project well before in time. The film has been waiting for its theatrical release for the past one year and the reason behind the delay is not exactly known. Any filmmaker would want his creation to be watched by his audience and when that doesn’t happen in the desired time, it will obviously be disappointing. Having said that, Vasanta Balan took to his Facebook page to share an emotional note which sounded heartbreaking. He shared the difficulties and the problems involved in doing a film, from scratch to finish.

The fans were quite shocked to see this post from Vasanta Balan and they shared their positive words of encouragement to him.
