Ace director Lingusamy will be teaming up with the young and happening Ram Pothineni for a Telugu - Tamil bilingual action drama. The film is tentatively called RaPo 19, and it will feature Uppena sensation Krithi Shetty as the female lead. A few days before, Ram Pothineni took to his official Twitter page to share his excitement about the project. Ram Pothineni had tweeted, "Final Narration Done & How!!! @dirlingusamy love you sir!! Super duper kicked!!! Roll that camera I say!!! @SS_Screens @ThisIsDSP @IamKrithiShetty #RAPO19". This tweet made the fans excited and people are already looking forward to the film.

The makers have now made a big announcement, revealing that the shooting of the film will commence from July 12 in Hyderabad. In another 5 days, RaPo 19 will go on floors and it is surely an exciting development. Sujith Vaassudev who is known for working in blockbuster Malayalam films like Lucifer and Drishyam will be cranking the camera for RaPo 19. National award-winning stunt choreographers, Anbariv, will be taking care of the actions, while Naveen Nooli will be editing the film. Sai Madhav Burra of Krack fame will be penning the Telugu dialogues for this film, while the Tamil dialogues are written by Lingusamys longtime friend, Brinda Sarathy.

As already known, Devi Sri Prasad will be composing the songs and background score of the film. A super-strong team, comprising of experienced talents is coming together to create something exciting for the fans and let us hope that the film strikes a chord. RaPo 19 will be a mass action entertainer and it will be bankrolled by Srinivasaa Chitturi under the banner of Srinivasaa Silver Screens. The film has been planned to be shot on a grand scale. Ram Pothineni was last seen in Red, the Telugu remake of Arun Vijay's Thadam and the film was a success at the box office.

On the other hand, Lingusamy's last directorial venture was Sandakozhi 2 that starred Vishal and Keerthy Suresh in the lead roles.
