Dhivya Dharshini teaches Dheena to make Chapathis during the lockdown
On 24 March, the Government of India ordered a nationwide lockdown for 21 days, limiting movement of the entire 1.3 billion population of India as a preventive measure against the 2020 coronavirus pandemic in India. The Government had to extend the lockdown by another 20 days till the 3rd of May. But with the look of things, we might have to isolate ourselves for a little longer. The lockdown was placed when the number of confirmed positive coronavirus cases in India was approximately 500. Now after 37 days, the total Covid-19 registered cases in the country is around 31,787. The overall death toll in India has increased to 1008 as on April 29th. During this lockdown period, the underprivileged are fighting it hard for their daily bread and butter while some have turned restless over boredom and waiting for normalcy to return. Even film stars are being active on their social platform more than ever. Some indulge in live interactions while some post videos and photos in a regular interval.
Anchor Dhivyadharshini had a live video conversation with comedian KPY Dheena. Apparently, DD taught Dheena to make Chapathis over a video chat. Dheena took to his Instagram space to share a few words about his lessons from DD in his usual fun tone for which the anchor had an interesting reply. “Expectation vs reality.. Epdi iruntha nama ipdi agitom pathingala @ddneelakandan akka.” - Dhenna
“GAMMNU IRU... Unaku anchoring soli tharalamnu show la seartha , kadaisila enna chapathi poda solu kudungaka nu kekure... Idhuku dan pasama video call vara soniya?” - DD
