In a shocking incident, former Bigg Boss Marathi contestant Heena Panchal was arrested on Sunday (June 27) at a rave party in Igatpuri and will be produced in Court. The police issued a statement on the incident and said that 22 people were arrested among whom included 12 women, with various drugs as well being seized at a private bungalow in the hill station in Nasik, Maharashtra. Superintendent of Police Nashik Rural Police, Sachin Patil said, "Heena along with the others who were arrested on Sunday will be produced in court." 

Upon being queried if Heenda had consumed drugs at the rave party, Sachin Patil stated that the blood samples of the actress and the others have been taken for analysis and are currently waiting for the reports to come in. When asked if there were any other film or TV personalities at the party, the police stated that there were no big names and only smaller artists. Speaking to news agency ANI, Patil said, "22 persons including 12 women were arrested and several types of drugs were seized from their possession after the police busted an alleged rave party at a private bunglow in Igatpuri hill station of Nashik District of Maharashtra. All have been taken into custody and further investigation is on, during the initial investigation, it has been found that out of 12 women, 5-6 women were actresses working in Bollywood and South Indian films."

Heena Panchal has starred in several Hindi films, including making appearances in Telugu, Kannada and the 2015 Tamil venture Yagavarayinum Naa Kaakka, which had Aadhi and Nikki Galrani in the lead roles. Her popularity shot up after she participated as one of the contestants on Bigg Boss Marathi season 2 in 2019 and went on to be evicted to come in at the 7th place.
