Anirudh's special Vaathi Step challenge for Vijay's Master

Thalapathy Vijay's Master is all set for a grand worldwide theatrical release on April 9 and is without a shadow of a doubt one of the most anticipated and exciting films coming out this year. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and produced by Xavier Britto under the XB Film Creators banner, the upcoming film is touted to be an action thriller and features music by Anirudh Ravichander, whose 'Kutti Story' song sung by Vijay himself and 'Vaathi Coming' track have gone on to receive chart-buster status in quick time.

With promotions for the film already underway and the Master audio launch scheduled to take place later this week on March 15, composer Anirudh has been keeping fans entertained and is now carrying forward with innovative promotions by announcing a special challenge for fans to participate in. Anirudh has released a short video on his social networking pages doing the dance move he was seen performing during a special cameo in the 'Vaathi Coming' song lyric video released earlier this week and has now asked fans to send in their own versions of the step as part of the 'Vaathi Step' challenge. Anirudh can be seen performing the 'Vaathi Step' alongside guitarist and music producer Keba Jeremiah and musician Sajith Sathya with the video going viral among fans. Master has been a film carrying sky-high expectations right from the moment of its announcement considering 'Thalapathy' Vijay would be sharing screen space alongside 'Makkal Selvan' Vijay Sethupathi, who is playing the antagonist. Apart from Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi, this Lokesh Kanagaraj directorial also includes Malavika Mohanan playing the female lead alongside Shanthanu Bhagyaraj, Andrea Jeremiah, Kaithi villain Arjun Das, Nassar, 96 actress Gouri Kishan, Sanjeev, Srinath, Sriman, Nagendra Prasad, Dheena, Ramya Subramanian, Ramesh Thilak, Prem, Azhagam Perumal, Chetan, Brigada Sagaya, Lintu Rony among others in major supporting roles.
