The first look poster of Chiyaan Vikram’s Cobra was released last evening (February 28) and it took the social media by storm. The intriguingly designed first look poster had Chiyaan in 7 completely different makeovers and it surprised the Kollywood audience totally. The makers haven’t revealed too much about the film and the curiosity factor has been neatly maintained. However, a section of people felt that the first look had traces of Vikram’s Rajapattai in which he appeared in various getups for a song video. Rajapattai failed at the box office and it also didn’t impress the audience.

Following that, Cobra’s director Ajay Gnanamuthu has reacted to those criticisms in style, with a Thalapathy Vijay reference. Yes, Ajay replied to the negative comments by sharing a picture from Vijay’s Bigil, where Rayappan says, ‘Miss eh aavaadhu”, assuring that Cobra will not be like Rajapattai. This made Chiyaan Vikram’s fans excited and look forward to the film eagerly. Produced by Lalit Kumar’s Seven Screen Studio in association with Viacom 18 Motion Pictures, Cobra has music scored by A.R.Rahman and cinematography handled by Harish Kannan.
