In an unexpected turn of events, popular Kannada actor Suresh Chandra passed away due to Covid 19 complications. According to reports, Suresh Chandra had tested positive for Covid 19 virus a few days before and was admitted to a private hospital for medical treatment. On Friday (June 11) afternoon, he failed to respond to the medical treatment and the doctors declared him dead. Suresh Chandra's death has come as a big shocker for the Kannada film industry and the fans are sharing their condolence messages on social media. Suresh is survived by his wife and two children.

For the unversed, Suresh Chandra is a popular actor in Kannada cinema who has acted in more than 50 films, sharing screen space with several leading star heroes. He is best known for playing the antagonist in the Kannada film, Cheluvina Chittara, which happens to be the remake of the critically acclaimed Tamil film, Kaadhal that featured Bharath and Sandhya in the lead roles. Suresh Chandra also acted in an important role in the Srimurali starter, Ugramm, which was helmed by Prashanth Neel of KGF fame.

Both, Cheluvina Chittara and Ugramm gave good recognition for Suresh Chandra and both the movies were a big success at the box office. Later, he also acted in movies like Kiccha Huccha, Rana, Junglee, Shyloo, Kalidasa Kannada Meshtru, Appayya, and more. His last movie was Kalidasa Kannada Meshtru (directed by Kaviraj), which released in 2019. Suresh was mostly known for acting in negative roles and he earned a name for himself among the Kannada audience. His demise has left the Kannada film industry and the fans in a deep state of shock.
