The 2016 Bollywood film, Pink, starring Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu, went on to be remade in Tamil last year under the title, Nerkonda Paarvai, with 'Thala' Ajith and Shraddha Srinath playing the lead roles under H. Vinoth's direction produced by Boney Kapoor's Bayview Projects LLP banner. A Telugu remake with 'Power Star' Pawan Kalyan was also announced last year with director Sriram Venu of MCA and Oh My Friend fame captaining the film under the tentative title, PSPK 26.

A joint collaboration between producers Dil Raju and Boney Kapoor under their Sri Venkateswara Creations and Bayview Projects LLP banners, it was announced yesterday that the much-awaited PSPK 26 first look and title would be be unveiled today. And, to bring the wait to a big finish, the makers have now officially revealed that the upcoming Telugu courtroom drama film's title is Vakeel Saab. Vakeel Saab will see actresses NivethaThomas, Anjali and Ananya Nagalla as the female leads with the film featuring music by S. Thaman. NivethaThomas and Anjali are reprising the roles of Taapsee Pannu, Kirti Kulhari from Pink and Shraddha Srinath, Abhirami Venkatachalam from Nerkonda Paarvai with Ananya Nagalla cast in the role portrayed by Andrea Tariang in both the Hindi and Tamil versions.

Production on Vakeel Saab kicked off earlier this year with shooting spot pictures of Pawan Kalyan going viral on social networking forums. There are massive expectations for Vakeel Saab with many waiting to witness the performance of Pawan Kalyan and how he fares in comparison to Amitabh Bachchan and Ajith Kumar.
