The COVID-19 Novel Corona Virus Pandemic doesn't differentiate among the people it infects and irrespective of their social standing or caste or creed, it has been going about infecting people by the thousands. A number of celebrities across the globe, including prominent sportspersons, actors and world leaders have been affected by this Virus and it recently came to light that the UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson was also one of them. After complaining of severe respiratory issues, he was admitted to the St Thomas Hospital in London and had been receiving treatment there, under critical care. Now, it has been revealed that the UK PM would be spending another night at the hospital.
The 55-year-old Boris Johnson has been receiving Oxygen and other medication but has not been placed under ventilator. His progress is being very closely monitored and meanwhile, the Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab has been deputising for the PM. Reports state that none of the four drugs touted by the US President Donald Trump to work against the Corona Virus have been clinically tested and the UK are not too keen on going in for any untested drug to treat their PM. There is high pressure on the UK Government as a number of pressing issues need to be addressed and despite deputising for the PM, Dominic Raab does not have the authority to make key decisions without the Cabinet's approval.
