'Thalapathy' Vijay is currently filming his next big film, The Greatest of All Time, in Kerala under blockbuster Tamil filmmaker Venkat Prabhu's direction. The upcoming film is gearing up for a grand worldwide theatrical release this year and the Tamil superstar has been filming key sequences in the state's capital Thiruvananthapuram over the past week. Vijay, who returned to Kerala for the first time in a decade for the shooting of The Greatest of All Time, has also been meeting his fans gathered outside The Sports Hub, also known as Greenfield International Stadium, and his hotel where he's at present staying.
With the production on The Greatest of All Time progressing at a steady pace, Vijay met his fans once again on Friday evening, March 22, and the actor then proceeding to take a selfie with them while standing atop a bus. The Leo (2023) star also went on to address everyone by saying that he will always be their Vijay in all lifetimes. Stating that he will remain their 'Thalapathy, he added, "The one thing that surprises me the most is that over the past 32 years, you have looked at me as one in your family beyond just an actor. You have seen me as 'unga veetu pillai' and it is truly astonishing. My wish is to live in your hearts like this forever. Tamil Nadu and Kerala are like my eyes."

Fans have been coming to Trivandrum over the past week from all corners in Kerala to get a glimpse of Vijay and this latest appearance has once again affirmed the massive fan following he continues to enjoy in the state. Featuring music composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, The Greatest of All Time is billed to be a high-octane action science-fiction entertainer and will showcase Vijay in dual roles alongside an ensemble cast featuring the likes of Meenakshi Chaudhary of Kolai (2023) fame playing the female lead, while Prashanth, Prabhu Deva, Jayaram, Ajmal Amir, Laila, Sneha, Mohan, Yogi Babu, VTV Ganesh, Premgi Amaren, Vaibhav, Aravind Akash, and Ajay Raaj appearing in pivotal roles, with Trisha Krishnan set to be seen in a cameo.
