When it was announced earlier this year that Suriya and ace filmmaker Selvaraghavan would be joining hands under the Dream Warrior Pictures banner with music by Yuvan Shankar Raja for the film titled NGK, it created quite a lot of excitement as well as expectations. Announced for a Diwali release this year, the upcoming action political drama backed out as the date drew closer with plans now likely for a 2019 release.
Apart from Suriya, NGK also stars Sai Pallavi, Rakul Preet Singh and Jagapati Babu with sources close to us now revealing exclusively the Tamil and Telugu versions of the film's distribution rights for USA and Canada have been bagged by Weekend Cinemas. It must be noted the distribution house has also secured the US-Canada rights for the highly anticipated Kannada language film KGF, which had its trailer released few days back to a rousing reception.
