Actor-producer Vishal has a number of promising projects lined up ahead, including one which will see him debuting as a director. His last film, Chakra, released in February, didn't turn out to be a big success, and Vishal will be aiming to hit the bullseye with his upcoming projects starting with Enemy in which he shares screen space alongside Arya, who has been cast as the antagonist, with Iru Mugan fame Anand Shankar taking up the directorial duties. Vishal also will be making his debut as a director in the highly-exciting Thupparivaalan 2, which will include music by 'Isaignani' Ilaiyaraaja. In addition, Vishal had announced prior to the lockdown in May the tentatively titled venture Vishal 31, being produced by his Vishal Film Factory banner under newcomer Thu. Pa. Saravanan's direction.

Touted to be a mass action film, Vishal 31 had resumed filming at Hyderabad's prestigious Ramoji Film City on Monday, with the makers releasing a making video of the shooting commencing once again. Now, Vasuki Bhaskar, who is serving as the costume designer on the film, has shared a short video of an action stunt sequence featuring Vishal getting hit on the head by a bottle, with the visuals giving us plenty of goosebumps. Sharing the Vishal 31 fight scene making video, she wrote, "Brilliant  but extremely risky and Insane action sequence.  @VishalKOfficial  always manages to jus escape a bad mishap in  fight sequences in all his movies.scaring the shooting unit.  @VishalKOfficial  #vishal31  check this out.👀". The film also includes Dimple Hayati playing the female lead, who made her Tamil cinema debut in the Prabhu Deva, Tamannaah-starrer Devi 2
