Vijay Deverakonda's emotional statement about director Puri Jagannadh- check out
Telugu director Puri Jagannadh made his debut with Pawan Kalyan’s Badri and the film celebrates its 20th year anniversary today (April 20). It has been 20 years since Puri Jagannadh made his debut in Telugu cinema and there has been no lookback since then. He has had a very successful career with huge blockbusters like Badri, Pokkiri, Businessman, Temper, iSmart Shankar, etc. He is currently directing Fighter (tentative title) starring Vijay Deverakonda in the lead role.
This film will be made in Hindi and Telugu, while it will be dubbed and released in other South Indian languages. Reacting to the 20 years of journey of Puri Jagannadh, Vijay took to his social media space to share an emotional note for him.
He tweeted, “Watched #Badri in the theater 20 years ago, I was in my 6th class. Sang Hey Chiquita for a long time after. I miss you and shooting our film now. I want you to stay healthy and kicking ass till I decide to retire as an actor #20YearsofPuriJagan”. Well, the tweet sounds very special indeed!
