'Thalapathy' Vijay's upcoming film, Master, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj announced to come out in theatres worldwide in April, had its audio launched on March 15 at a gala event in Chennai amidst the presence of thousands of fans. The film's songs since their release have gone on to become chart-busters with each track featuring on the top of the charts and fans lauding composer Anirudh Ravichander for delivering yet another knockout album for Vijay after Kaththi in 2014.

Announced initially for a theatrical release this month, it now remains to be seen what producer Xavier Britto of XB Film Creators and Lalit Kumar of 7 Screen Studios banners decide in terms of Master's release plans considering the world has been hit by the coronabirus pandemic and all production and promotions for upcoming films have been brought to a temporary halt indefinitely. In the midst of this, the lyric video for the 'Polakattum Para Para' song sung by Santhosh Narayanan to the lyrics penned by Vishnu Edavan was released yesterday with fans finally getting to witness 'Makkal Selvan' Vijay Sethupathi shaking his feet to the thara local beats.

Meanwhile, Lokesh Kanagaraj was all praise for lyricist Vishnu Edavan, whose lyrics for Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi have turned out to come out in a mass manner with the Kaithi director declaring him to be on a whole new level in terms of writing. Apart from the 'Polakattum Para Para' song, Vishnu Edavan has also written the lyrics for the 'Pona Pogattum' track, which as well has received a huge response from fans. Master will see Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi facing off each other with Malavika Mohanan playing the female lead and the ensemble cast featuring names like Shanthanu Bhagyaraj, Andrea Jeremiah, Kaithi villain Arjun Das, Nassar, 96 actress Gouri Kishan, Sanjeev, Srinath, Sriman, Nagendra Prasad, Dheena, Ramya Subramanian, Ramesh Thilak, Prem, Azhagam Perumal, Chetan, Brigada Saga and Lintu Rony.
