Without any doubts, the Coronavirus pandemic has badly affected the lives of people all over the world. The entire nation is on a lockdown and people have been requested to stay indoors in order to contain the spread of the virus among the people. Going by the current updates, there are high chances of the lockdown getting extended until the month. The virus can attack anyone and there are no exceptions. On that note, popular Malayalam filmmaker Padmakumar’s son Akash has been discharged from the hospital after getting recovered from the novel coronavirus.

Akash and his colleague Eldho Mathew were tested positive for Covid - 19 virus, a few days back, and now their recovery has come as a heartening news for many. Padmakumar took to his official Facebook page to share this good news with his followers. He thanked all the state’s Chief Minister Pinrayi Vijayan, Health Minister Shylaja Teacher, doctors, nurses, who are taking all the measures to contain the spread of the virus in Kerala.

Director Padmakumar is known for his films like Shikkar and Joseph. He had last directed Mammootty’s period action film Mamangam, which released in December 2019. Check out his social media post below:
