Leading Tamil hero Vishnu Vishal's next film will be FIR and has been directed by debutant Manu Anand, who previously worked as an associate to blockbuster director Gautham Menon. Currently in its final stages of post-production, FIR is touted to be an action thriller as suggested in the promotional material released so far and will see Vishnu sharing screen space with three female leads - Reba Monica John, Raiza Wilson and Manjima Mohan, with Gautham Menon as well starring in a pivotal role. Produced under the Vishnu Vishal Studioz banner, FIR's release plans are said to be underway, with the team now unveiling the 'Payanam' video song. 

Featuring music by Ashwath and picturised on the lead pair Vishnu Vishal and Reba Monica John, 'Payanam' in FIR is a breezy romantic number sung by Abhay Jodhpurkar to the lyrics penned by Bagavathy P K, with the audio rights for the film being bagged by Divo Music. The buzz for FIR has been quite positive ever since the project rolled into production in 2019, with the makers also releasing an intense and action-packed teaser last year. The FIR teaser gave us glimpses on the politics around religion and the subject of terrorism, with the visuals garnering a lot of praise from fans online. 

Apart from the solid star cast, FIR also has a talented technical team on board among whom include Arul Vincent for the cinematography and GK Prasanna handling the editing, with the action scenes choreographed by Stunt Silva and costume designs by Poorthi Pravin.
