Five-year-old boy flies alone from Delhi to Bengaluru to reunite with mother after 3 months
Domestic air services resumed on Monday after a gap of two months when the nation went into lockdown on March 25 due to the coronavirus pandemic. With air services on the domestic circuit once again established across the country, five-year-old Vihaan Sharma has charmed his way into the hearts of people. Carrying a "special category" ticket, the little boy traveled alone from Delhi, and walked into the arms of his mother, who waited for him anxiously at Bengaluru's Kempegowda International Airport.
Vihaan's mother while addressing a query by the press said, "My five-year-old son Vihaan has traveled alone from Delhi, he has come back to Bengaluru after three months,", holding her son all the while, who was dressed in all-yellow with a matching mask and blue gloves. The pictures of Vihaan arriving at the Bengaluru airport have since gone viral on social networking forums. As of 9AM Monday, Bengaluru Airport had five arrivals and seventeen departures and Vihaan's flight was one among them. A total of nine flights as well were canceled. Check out the images of Vihaan reunited with his mother in the tweet posted by ANI below:
