Popular Tamil television serial actress Nisha Krishnan's grandmother passed away recently and the actress took to her official Instagram page to share the news with her fans and followers. Nisha's grandmother, Kamala, breathed her last recently and her demise has left the actress in deep sorrow. Nisha penned a heartfelt note about her grandmother, expressing her love and admiration. Nisha also called her grandmother to be her best teacher and best friend.

Sharing a throwback picture, Nisha wrote, "An irreplaceable loss in my life! My kamala paati! she’s the best cook, the best hugger, the best life teacher, the best comedian, the best friend, the best spoiler, and so much more. You left a huge hole in our hearts that will never be filled again by anyone else! Rest in peace my chella paati ❤️". Similarly, Nisha's husband and actor Ganesh Venkatraman also posted a heartwarming note, mourning the demise.

For the uninformed, Nisha Krishnan made her acting debut with the Vijay TV serial, Kanaa Kaanum Kaalangal: Kallooriyin Kadhai in 2011. She got her first breakthrough after acting in the blockbuster hit Sun TV serial, Deivamagal which featured Krishna and Vani Bhojan in the lead roles. Later, Nisha played the female lead character of 'Draupadi' in the historical TV series, Mahabharatham, which aired from 2013 to 2016. Nisha also played the female lead in Zee Tamizh's serial, Thalayanai Pookal and Vijay TV's serial, Nenjam Marappathillai.

Nisha has also acted in supporting roles in movies like Ivan Vera Maathiri, Naan Sigappu Manithan, Chennai Ungalai Anbudan Varaverkirathu, Vil Ambu, and more. Nisha is married to actor Ganesh Venkatraman, who is known for acting in films like Abhiyum Naanum and Unnaipol Oruvan. Ganesh got a massive breakthrough after participating in the first season of Bigg Boss Tamil. Ganesh was one of the finalists of the show. Nisha and Ganesh have a daughter named Samaira.
