The world's biggest Maha Shivaratri festival is going to be celebrated with grandeur at the Isha Yoga Center in Coimbatore on March 8. The preparations for the festival, which will be attended by lakhs of people, are going on in full swing. Maha Shivaratri is a day of great spiritual significance as the planetary system that occurs during this night helps the life force in the human body to naturally move upward. It is for this purpose that the Maha Shivaratri festival is celebrated in a grand manner in our Indian culture. 

Accordingly, the 30th Maha Shivaratri festival at Isha will be celebrated in front of Adiyogi on March 8 starting 6 pm and end at 6 am the next day. In the presence of Sadhguru, this festival will include various aspects such as powerful meditations, chanting of mantras, Maha Yatra of Goddess Linga Bhairavi, and the Adiyogi Divya Darshan. The festival will also host a variety of musical performances to keep the millions of people who will be participating live and in person engaged throughout the night. 

It will feature renowned playback singer Shankar Mahadevan, Tamil folk singer Mahalingam, Punjabi music artiste Gurdas Maan, Carnatic music artiste Sandeep Narayanan, Bollywood music artistes Prithvi Gandharv, Rathijit Bhattacharjee, and Paradox (Tanishq Singh), while several other top performers from across the nation are also scheduled to participate. Apart from this, music and dance groups from Africa, Lebanon and France are also going to rock the stage. The Isha Mahashivaratri festival will be telecast live in 21 languages ​​including Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, Marathi, Chinese, Portuguese, Spanish, and French. Apart from Coimbatore, the festival will be celebrated live in 36 places in Tamil Nadu, including Madurai, Trichy, Salem, Vellore, and Nagercoil.
