Silambarasan TR's fans are set to have a grand time ahead as the multi-talented star is gearing up to delight them with a number of films he's currently attached to among which also includes the highly-anticipated mass masala political entertainer, Maanaadu. Directed by Venkat Prabhu under Suresh Kamatchi's V House Productions banner, the upcoming film's music has been composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, with the first single track titled 'Meherezylaa' released on Monday receiving a terrific response. Having said that, the Maanaadu team had also participated in a Twitter space session yesterday evening among whom included STR, Venkat Prabhu, Suresh Kamatchi, Yuvan, SJ Suryah, heroine Kalyani Priyadarshan, Premgi, lyricist Madhan Karky and Bhavatharini, who spoke about their experiences on working in the film.

During the Maanaadu Twitter space session, Yuvan was asked by host and YouTuber Abhisek Raja whether Simbu was singing a song in the film to which the composer responded in the affirmative. The last song STR had sung was the "Yaaraiyum Ivlo Azhaga" track composed by the Vivek-Mervin duo in Karthi's Sulthan, which came out in April. Likewise, this latest huge announcement from Silambarasan has come as joyous news for the star's fans as he will croon to Yuvan's music once again after the 2018 film, Raja Ranguski. Fans will no doubt be roaring to catch the successful duo back in action from what they have cooked up in Maanaadu soon.

The STR-U1 combo has been a highly-successful one as they have churned out chart-busters in the past like "Sight Adippom" from April Maadhathil, "En Aasai Mythiliae" and "Thathai Thathai" in Manmadhan, "Loosu Penne", "Kadhal Vanthirichu" and "Yammaadi Aathaadi" in Vallavan, "Nallamdhana" and "Vechukkava (Remix)" in Silambattam, "No Money No Honey" and "Evan Di Unna Pethan" in Vaanam, including the "Trend Song" and "Raththam En Raththam" in Anbanavan Asaradhavan Adangadhavan

Currently in its post-production stages, the expectations for Maanaadu are massive and the staggering feedback to the film's teaser has proven to be a strong testimony for the hype surrounding it. Maanaadu is also Silambarasan and Venkat Prabhu's first full-length venture after the actor made a cameo appearance in the 2010 hit, Goa. Simbu will be seen playing a Muslim in the film for the first time in his career, with his character's name revealed to be Abdul Khaaliq.
