We had earlier reported that AR Murugadoss is the front runner to direct Vijay’s next film. It is speculated that this 65th project of Vijay might be the sequel to the blockbuster hit Thuppakki. Though no official confirmation has been made about Thuppakki 2, all eyes are on Vijay’s Master right now. Will the film release on April 9th as per the plan or not? The outbreak of Corona Virus has been forcing film producers to push the releases of their films. Will Master be postponed is the million-dollar question?

Fans have been linking Master audio launch to Thuppakki’s audio launch event since both the events were hosted by anchor Bhavana. Thuppakki was a special film in Thalapathy’s career, it lifted his career to the next level. And fans are hoping that Vijay would be repeating Thuppakki magic once again with Master. When a fan pointed out this Thuppakki-Master connect on Twitter, Bhavana replied saying - “always want @actorvijay’s films to set the benchmark 😊"
