The COVID-19 Novel Corona Virus Pandemic is bringing even the mightiest of countries down to their knees. After ravaging European countries like Italy and Spain, the USA has now become the most affected country by this deadly Virus. The Corona Virus is spreading rapidly across the United States and in the past 24 hours alone, there have been over 2200 COVID related deaths in America. This has taken the overall death toll past 58,000, which is higher than the number of fatalities faced by the country in the Vietnam War. After the death rate hovering around 1300 on Sunday (April 26th) and Monday (April 27th), there has been a sharp spike on Tuesday! 

According to the National Archives, the total number of lives lost in the Vietnam War in combat and due to other causes stands at 58,220, while the death toll due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, has already crossed 58,351, as of today (April 29th) morning. The number of people infected by the Corona Virus has now touched 1 million in the USA, which has made the country almost responsible for one-third of the entire cases in the world. There have been 30,42,444 cases of COVID-19 positive recorded in the entire world with about 2,11,221 deaths and 8,94,997 recoveries, so far! New York has been one of the worst hit states in the USA and is considered to be the epicentre of the Virus, in the country.
