Taking to his Twitter page, President Trump also stated that the number of COVID-19 tests done in the US is more than any country in the world and beyond all major nations combined. He further said the United States has manufactured many brand new and high quality ventilators while emphasizing that they are now in a position to help other nations around the world who are in desperate need of them. United States is the most affected country in the world as a result of the coronavirus with the death toll soaring past 50,000 people and more than 900,000 positive cases reported to date. With over 95,000 people recovering from the COVID-19 virus, testing is bound to shoot up in the days going forward in all the 50 states in America. The totals come from all 50 states, the District of Columbia including other US territories, as well as repatriated cases and those serving in the US military, veterans hospitals and federal prisons.

New York City, which has taken the biggest hit mounting to over 16,000 deaths, Governor Andrew Cuomo during a press briefing on Saturday said that testing is being conducted on an average of about 20,000 people per day with the goal set for expansion up to 40,000 people every day, which would include diagnostic and antibody tests.
