Reports state that Anand Singh Bisht had undergone emergency dialysis on Sunday and was later shifted to the ICU. He was also earlier hospitalised in Dehradun, a couple of months back, after suffering from severe dehydration. We hear that he had served as a forest ranger, during his career. Latest reports suggest that the UP CM Yogi Adityanath would not be attending his father's last rites, to follow the lockdown rules strictly and has also urged his mother and relatives to not gather in large numbers at the cremation ground. He has further mentioned in a letter written to his mother that he would come and meet her, once normalcy is restored after the lockdown is lifted. The last rites are to take place at his native village in Uttarakhand, tomorrow! We extend our heartfelt condolences to the UP CM Yogi Adityanath's family and pray for the departed soul to rest in peace.
