TRAIN TO BUSAN PRESENTS: PENINSULA (2020) Official Teaser | Zombie Action Movie
The 2016 South Korean action horror film, Train to Busan, directed by Yeon Sang-ho with Gong Yoo, Jung Yu-mi, and Ma Dong-seok in starring roles went on to become a surprise hit at the international box office. Centered around the living dead commonly known as the zombies, the film's plot revolved around a train en route to Busan as a zombie apocalypse breaks out putting the lives of those traveling in danger. Four years later, the sequel titled, Peninsula, and being marketed in the United States and the rest of the world as Train to Busan Presents: Peninsula, sees Yeon Sang-ho return to the director's chair with the film in line for a worldwide theatrical release this August.
Produced jointly by Next Entertainment World and RedPeter Film, Peninsula, includes Gang Dong-won, Lee Jung-hyun, Lee Re, Kwon Hae-hyo, Kim Min-jae, Koo Kyo-hwan among others in starring roles. Being one of the most exciting films right from the moment it went into production, an intense and action-packed teaser for Train to Busan Presents: Peninsula has now been released along with an official synopsis for the zombie thriller.
The official synopsis for Train to Busan Presents: Peninsula is as follows: "Four years after South Korea’s total decimation in TRAIN TO BUSAN, the zombie thriller that captivated audiences worldwide, acclaimed director Yeon Sang-ho brings us PENINSULA, the next nail-biting chapter in his post-apocalyptic world. Jung-seok, a soldier who previously escaped the diseased wasteland, relives the horror when assigned to a covert operation with two simple objectives: retrieve and survive. When his team unexpectedly stumbles upon survivors, their lives will depend on whether the best—or worst—of human nature prevails in the direst of circumstances."
