In an unexpected turn of events, actress Yashika Aannand and her friends met with a tragic accident in which one of them died. Yashika's car rammed into a barricade and later on a median during the midnight hours of Sunday, July 25 and the incident has garnered huge attention on social media. Yashika Aannand is currently said to be in critical condition and she is getting treated at the Apollo Hospital in Chennai. Reports suggest that Yashika has sustained fractures in her leg, hip, and hands. Unfortunately, Yashika's close friend, Pavani Valicheti passed away in the accident. The other two friends are said to be quite okay with minor injuries.

An official update on Yashika Aannand's health condition is awaited. However, Yashika's close friend and actress Aishwarya Dutta took to her Twitter page to share that Yashika is fine. Aishwarya Dutta tweeted, "My friend is fine and will be fine soon … her willpower is standing strong". The fans are praying for the young actress' speedy recovery and let us hope for a good news soon. The car accident took place in Sulerikadu, near Mahabalipuram. Following the accident, the Mahabalipuram Police filed a case and began their investigations over the incident.

Having said that, the latest important update is that three cases have been filed against actress Yashika Aannand. If reports are to be believed, the Mahabalipuram Police have filed cases against Yashika for overspeeding (as she was driving the car), and also for the death of her friend Pavani Valicheti. More details regarding the case are awaited.

Yashika Aannand is known for participating in the second season of Bigg Boss Tamil, hosted by Kamal Haasan. She earned a good popularity through the show.
