STR’s highly anticipated Maanaadu has finally begun this morning (February 19), as already announced by the makers. Yes, this political drama was officially launched this morning in Chennai in the presence of the main cast and crew including STR, Kalyani Priyadarshan, Bharathiraja, Manoj Bharathiraja, Karunakaran, director Venkat Prabhu, Premgi Amaren, producer Suresh Kamatchi and others. The pictures from the pooja event have been doing the rounds on social media and Simbu’s fans are in complete delight after seeing these pictures.

Simbu looks handsome and smart in the pooja event pictures, wearing a classy white shirt and his look in the film is going to be a major aspect to watch out for. It has been quite a while since we saw STR in action and we can expect the stylish star to make a strong comeback through Maanaadu. The makers will start shooting today and if things go as per plan, the film will hit the screens in August 2020.
