Sita Ramam is an upcoming Telugu romantic drama film written and directed by Hanu Raghavapudi of Krishna Gaadi Veera Prema Gaadha fame. Produced by Chalasani Aswini Dutt under the banner of Vyjayanthi Movies as well as by Swapna Cinema, the film stars Dulquer Salmaan, Mrunal Thakur, and Rashmika Mandanna in leading roles. This Hanu Raghavapudi directorial revolves around the incomplete love story of Lieutenant Ram (Dulquer) and Sita (Mrunal), and how Afreen (Rashmika) embarks on a journey of finding the star-crossed lovers.
The maker of the film recently dropped the trailer for the film and it is beyond magical. The trailer kicks off with Afreen being assigned to deliver a letter to Sita Mahalakshmi that Lieutenant Ram had written to her 20 years ago. Afreen searches for Sita everywhere but faces disappointment. She therefore decides to search for Ram first. In her journey, Afreen faces several limitations in her journey, with circumstances looking gloomy.
We also get a look at some adorable flashback glimpses of the love story shared between Ram and Sita. The film seems to have the perfect concoction of romance, drama, and action in it, and the three leading actors have put up a commendable job of portraying their respective characters as well. We get a look at the amazing authentic setting of the 60s and the love story that develops at that time.
On the technical side of things, the film has its music composed by Vishal Chandrasekhar, cinematography handled by P. S. Vinod and Shreyaas Krishna while Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao has been put in charge of the editing. The film is scheduled to release theatrically on 5 August 2022 in multiple languages including Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam.
