If there is a Tamil that has been expected for a very long time, it would definitely be Selvaraghavan’s Nenjam Marappathillai. Starring S.J.Suryah, Nandita Swetha and Regina Cassandra in the lead roles, this film was completed way back in 2016 and ever since then, the fans have been ardently waiting to see the film on the big screens. The film’s teaser and trailer created a rage on the Internet and it also set good expectations. In a recent live interaction with Galatta Media, director Selvaraghavan was asked if he had any update regarding the release of the film.

He said, “You should probably ask the producer. Our work has been completely finished and we are in fact done with all the censor formalities. If there is any development regarding the film, it should be coming from their side.” Well, it looks like we will have to wait for an update about the release of the film only from the production house and that will happen only after sorting out the financial issues behind the film.

Currently, Selvaraghavan is busy with the pre-production and scripting works of his next film with Dhanush. This new film will be produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu.
