A huge name across South India, actress Samantha Akkineni has garnered a massive following over the years while starring alongside top stars with the ventures going on to become box office successes The popular actress' first film of 2020, Jaanu, in Telugu, is an official remake of the 2018 Tamil blockbuster, 96, with her performance being declared by many as a major highlight yet again.

Married to Telugu actor Naga Chaitanya, Samantha is now all set to open her pre-school on February 22 in Jubilee Hills locality in Hyderabad, Telangana. The actress has revealed on her Instagram page in a video that her pre-school, Ekam Learning Centre, has been started in association with Shilpa Reddy and educationist Mukta Khurana, with the sole aim of providing quality education and learning to children. There has been considerable planning behind venturing into the opening of Ekam Learning Centre for more than a year between the three partners and more details on the pre-school are expected to be made known in the days ahead. On the professional front, Samantha was recently announced to be part of Vignesh Shivan's upcoming next, Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal, which will see her starring alongside 'Makkal Selvan' Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara, and is a joint collaboration between the Naanum Rowdydhaan director's Rowdy Pictures and Lalit Kumar's 7 Screen Studio with music by Anirudh Ravichander. Expectations for Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal shot up sky-high after the cast was revealed with production on the upcoming film billed to be a rom-com expected to kick-off this summer.
