Raghava Lawrence is right now busy shooting his debut Hindi directorial, Laxmmi Bomb (starring Akshay Kumar) which is the remake of Kanchana. Meanwhile, an interesting announcement on Lawrence’s next Tamil film has now been made and it looks like an exciting project is on cards. This new film will be produced by S Kathiresan under the banner of Five Star Creations LLP and this will be the company’s seventh production venture after Polladhavan, Aadukalam, Jigarthanda and more.

Interestingly, this film will have music scored by G.V.Prakash Kumar and it will be his first film with Raghava Lawrence. G.V.Prakash is in his prime form as the music director with the success of Asuran and Soorarai Pottru (songs) and we can expect him to continue the success with this new project as well. Details about the film’s director is not disclosed and we can expect the announcement very soon.

Producer Kathiresan had earlier acquired the remake rights of Superstar Rajinikanth’s yesteryear classic Moondu Mugam and had planned to do it with Raghava Lawrence. It is not clearly known if this newly announced project will be the remake of Moondru Mugam. Stay tuned for more updates.
