Jyotika’s Ponmagal Vandhal is all set to release on May 29 directly on Amazon Prime Video and the fans are eagerly waiting to witness the film. This courtroom drama will be one of the first Tamil films to release directly on an OTT platform, during this lockdown period. The film will feature Jyotika in the role of a lawyer and it is said that the film has quite a lot of intriguing courtroom scenes. The film is directed by debutant J.J.Fredrick and produced by Suriya’s 2D Entertainment.

In a recent Facebook live interaction with Galatta Media, director Fredrick shared a few words about his producer. He said, “Suriya is the Godfather of Ponmagal Vandhal. He has never talked to me as a producer, not even once. He always makes sure everything goes as per plan and I’ve never encountered a problem during the shooting. Being an actor himself, he knows what is needed. He is happy with the film. He is a huge support to the film, right from the beginning till the release.”

Ponmagal Vandhal has 5 veteran directors - K Bhagyaraj, Radhakrishnan Parthiban, Prathap Pothen, Pandiarajan, Thiyagarajan, playing prominent roles. The film has music by Govind Vasantha and cinematography by Ramji. Get ready to witness Ponmagal Vandhal from May 29 only on Amazon Prime Video.
