Fahadh Faasil's Trance censor controversy solved - to release on February 20
Fahadh Faasil’s Trance is one of the most expected films of this year in Malayalam cinema and the fans have been eagerly waiting to witness the film on the big screens. The film was scheduled to be released on February 14, but it was eventually postponed to a later date due to censor certification problems. The Censor Board of Film Certification (CBFC), Thiruvananthapuram, referred the film to the Revising Committee (RC) for censor certification since the regional committee felt that the film had a few controversial scenes.
As a result, the film was recently seen by the Revising Committee members in Mumbai and all the problems have now been sorted out. Trance has been certified with an U/A certificate without any audio or visual cuts by the Revising Committee. The film has now been officially announced to release on February 20 (Thursday). Fahadh Faasil shared this good news on his official Facebook page and it has made the fans excited.
Produced and directed by Anwar Rasheed of Ustad Hotel fame, Trance has an ensemble star cast that includes Nazriya Nazim, director Gautham Vasudev Menon, Soubin Shahir, Vinayakan, Chemban Vinod Jose, Dileesh Pothan, Sreenath Bhasi, Joju George, and others. Trance has music scored by Jackson Vijayan and Sushin Shyam (background score), while Amal Neerad and Praveen Prabhakar have handled the cinematography and editing departments respectively. Get set to witness Trance in the big screens from February 20!
