Santhosh Narayanan shares music live recording video of Dhanush's D40! Check it out!

Music director Santhosh Narayanan burst onto the scene through the 2012 Pa Ranjith directorial Attakathi! He made a name for himself with his unique tunes and using a variety of voices in his songs and has now established himself as a composer of repute with a niche for himself! Now, he has almost become a staple in directors Pa Ranjith and Karthik Subbaraj's movies and is the go-to man for almost all project set in Chennai, for he captures the essence of this bustling city to a T, in his songs and BGM! Currently, Sa-Na (as Santhosh Narayanan is fondly known) is scoring the music for two of Dhanush's movies - #D40 & #D41.

Sa-Na has released a very short video on his Twitter handle and this has sent all of Dhanush's fans into a frenzy! This video is from a live audio recording for #D40, Dhanush's upcoming movie with Karthik Subbaraj! Recently, Dhanush had revealed that the title and First Look of this movie would be released today (19/02/2020) at 5:00 pm and with Sa-Na putting out this video, the excitement levels of the fans have shot through the roof! This video shows some mass music being played by artists wielding native rural instruments, set in what seems to be a village backdrop.

#D40 was shot extensively in the UK and rural regions in and around Madurai and this project is said to be a gangster film. Game of Thrones star James Cosmo plays an important role in this movie, which also stars Aishwarya Lekshmi, Sanchana Natarajan, Kalaiyarasan and Joju George, among others! Sashikanth is bankrolling #D40 under his Y NOT Studios banner and Vivek Harshan is handling the editing. Sa-Na is also the music director of Dhanush's upcoming movie with director Mari Selvaraj, which has been titled Karnan!
