Actor, director and screenwriter Tom Hanks and his wife Rita Wilson had recently tested positive for the COVID-19 Corona Virus, on their trip to Australia. Tom Hanks himself had taken to his social media handle to reveal this news. Now, after being quarantined for over a week, Hanks has put up an update about the positives and negatives of his situation. Tom Hanks has put up an Instagram post with a photo and a few lines. The photo is of a typewriter which has been branded Corona. In his lines, Tom Hanks added a witty and funny twist to his situation!

Tom Hanks has stated that about a week after testing positive for Corona Virus and having been in self-isolation, the symptoms are very much the same. He has added that there has not been any fever but is having the 'blahs'! Tom Hanks stated that he has been folding the laundry and doing the dishes and taking naps on the couch. On the flip side, he has said that the bad news is that his wife Rita has won 6 straight hands of Gin Rummy against him and is leading him by 201 points! He also stated that he has learnt to not spread the vegemite too thick. Talking about the typewriter in the photo, he stated that he had carried it with him and that it was something that he "used to love." He ended his post with the line - "We are all in this together. Flatten the curve. Hanx"!
